Games We Play

Ellie and I play all day. That's pretty much all we do. Don't be jealous. Here's a list of some of the fun games that go one during the day.

We start the day with Tummy Time.

Tummy Time is only fun when there are fun toys.

One fun toy is Mom's phone. Rolling over is most likely when Mom's phone is around.

When Mom's phone is not around, we play Pretend To Roll Over, But Stop Halfway, Despite Coaxing. This is very popular.

The newest game (within the last 2 days) has been Roll Back And Forth Until Ellie Throws Up.

Next we play Catch. A very special kind of Catch.

We call it Messy Catch. Or Lunchtime.

After Lunchtime comes Naptime. Mom likes Naptime the best. Daddy is also good at naps.

After Naptime comes Peekaboo.

Our next fun game is called Practice Sitting On The Bed While Mom Folds Laundry.

Once again, fun toys are a must.

Sometimes Mommy gets carried away with laundry.

Then we play Mommy Loves Me To The Point Of Being Annoying.

Then we do Play On The Floor While Mom Tries To Get Things Done Without Ellie Noticing.

But Mom's still watching. Funny things happen when Mom pretends to not pay attention.

Sometimes she tips.

This is how NOT to use a playmat.
This also reminds me of the next favorite game...

The Pull Off (At Least) One Sock And Try To Eat It game.
It's a big hit at parties.

Then comes the Play In The Chair While Mom Makes Supper game. This one is only fun some of the time.

Hats make games more fun.

The best games happen when Daddy gets home.

They play piano...

...they dance...

...they read...

...they play video games...

...and just fool around.

Daddy's more fun than Mom.

Then comes more Messy Catch (or Suppertime), plus Try To Talk With Food In Mouth.

Following that is Bathtime. The favorite Bathtime game is known as Sit In The Tub And Try To Catch The Rubber Ducky, closely followed by Splash Lots Of Water On Mom While Squeaking.

(edited/censored version)

Finally, we have Drying Off Time and Naked Time. We don't count Getting Dressed as a game, because it's not fun.

At this point we have more Daddy Fun Time followed by the not-so-fun Night Night.

And you thought being a stay-at-home Mom would be boring.

  1. Yay for games all day long. Your games sound very similar to ours... And I'm glad Ashlynne's not the only baby that's figured out how to lift the bumper pad. She just gets stuck under it.
